A message from Meagan Seavers, City Kids Director
Hello parents! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am extremely passionate about two things: Children and Jesus. I have been working with children in various capacities since I was barely out of childhood myself. I have a BS in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, taught in various schools, served in orphanages across the world, and worked in children’s ministry. I believe that all children are born with a sense of wonder and belief that we as adults have lost. If we can encourage this trait, we can help children build strong bonds with Christ at very young ages that will last a lifetime. Through City Kids, I want to see children discipled in a way that cultivates strong and fearless believers in the love story of Jesus Christ.
City Kids believes in bible centered teaching that consistently points to the gospel of Jesus. kids of all ages will…
the words of the Bible through video, storytelling, and scripture reading.
a real relationship with Jesus through activities, songs, small group discussion, and asking questions.
and engage in each week’s story. Children are provided with a space to play out the themes discovered through crafts, games, and dramatic arts.
Elementary: This class is for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
Preschool: This class is for children 3-5. The children in this class are completely potty trained, but have not started kindergarten yet.
Infant/Toddler: This class is for infants (no younger than 6 weeks) to young three year olds. Children in this class are not potty trained.
Coming Soon - Infant: We are currently working to open a new infant-only room, making the current Infant/Toddler room a space for toddlers only.
We use a secure check in system to make sure our kids stay safe at all times. Additionally, we background check all City Kids volunteers and they never serve alone.
